Reminder
The reminder LED light shines through the surface of the manual controller.
The light indicates the position of the desk (sitting or standing height).
The task depends on the selected reminder interval.
Heartbeat (light strip)
The heartbeat reminder is displayed as a narrow LED light strip. While the user
sits for the set interval, the light strip pulses a soothing green, symbolising a
heartbeat. When the sitting interval has expired, the slow-pulsing green changes
for one minute into a fast-pulsing orange and to a static orange to show that the
user should set the desk to the standing height. At standing height, the light
bar pulses green until it times out (standard timeout is after four hours). When
the desk returns to sitting height, the light bar pulses green until the reminder
expires again.
Battery (light bars)
The battery display is shown as three LED light bars. The LED light bars light
up differently depending on the desk position.
Sitting:
- During the first third of a sitting period, the three green light bars are lit,
indicating a fully charged battery.
- During the second third of the period, two green bars are lit.
- During the last third of the period, only one green block is lit. When the sitting
period expires, the last green block switches to red to show that the use
should move the desk to standing height.
Standing:
- While the user stands for the first third of the standing period, one green light
bar flashes to indicate that the battery is being charged.
- During the second third of the period, one green light bar is lit and
one flashes.
- During the last third of the set time, two green blocks are lit and one flashes.
- When the standing time expires, five green blocks light up to show that the
user can set the desk to sitting height.
Re-starting reminder
The reminder is automatically re-started when the desk is lowered to sitting
height.
Reminder timeout
After four hours of inaction, the light bar switches off.
When the manual controller is tilted, the green light illuminates again.
When the LED for reminders is activated, the manual controller is no longer in
ZERO™ mode so long as the light is illuminated/active.
