– "Summer cooling" function
Water damage due to the formation of condensate .
When activating the "Summer cooling" function, the two plugs must be removed from the base tray, so that the con-
densate can drain (see Fig. 33 and 34).
The "Summer cooling" function is activated via the "KWL easyControls" controls.

Service and maintenance

m Danger to life due to electric shock!
An electric shock can result in death or serious injuries .
– Before any maintenance and installation work or before opening the cover, the unit must be fully isolated
from the power supply .
– Allow the unit to cool down for five minutes or wait until the fans are turned off .
– Risk of electric shock, moving parts (fans) and hot surfaces .

Replace and service filter

m Risk of burns due to hot surfaces!
The unit surfaces can be very hot soon after deactivation due to the operating temperature and a built-in pre-hea-
ter element.
> Allow unit to cool down for at least 5 minutes.
– Replace filter
Filter replacement is indicated on the control unit by flashing LEDs for all ventilation levels.
The arrangement of the air filters can be found on the unit label. When installing the filter, the air direction according to
the unit label must be observed (it is indicated by arrows on the filters).
Proceed as follows to replace the filters:
Intake air filter
1. Unhook panel (magnetic) upwards and remove filter cover (foam part) (see Fig. 35).
2. Pull intake air filter to the front and replace (see Fig. 36).
3. Press both buttons on control panel for more than two seconds to confirm the filter replacement.
Extract air filter
Depending on the intake air connection, the extract air filter is located on the right (intake air connection from right) or
left side (intake air connection from left) of the unit.
1. Carefully pull filter panel (plastic part) to the front (see Fig. 35).
2. Pull extract air filter to the front and replace (see Fig. 36).
3. Press both buttons on control panel for more than two seconds to confirm the filter replacement.

The unit is equipped with filters ISO Coarse 65 % on the intake air and extract air sides as standard.
