/ Dial
The Dial lets you control the operation of the food
processor. You can set the desired values for the
temperature, time or speed functions. Enable or
disable the standby mode of your Yämmi. Alert
for the temperature of the mixing bowl or pan
during operation.
Set values for the selected function: by
rotating the Dial clockwise, the values increase
and anticlockwise the values decrease, making it
possible to adjust the selected function. The setting
of the desired function values (time, temperature, or
speed) may be performed before starting the food
processor or during operation. To do this, simply select
the function button and set new values by turning
the Dial.
Stopping operation: during preparation, if you
press the Dial, the food processor will stop and all
programmed functions (time and temperature) will
be frozen. To return to operating, just set the speed
function again.
Clearing programmed functions: during
preparation, if you press the Dial for 3 seconds,
the food processor will stop and all programmed
functions (time, temperature and speed) will
be cleared.
Stand-by mode: when the Yämmi is left for more
than 15 minutes without being used, it automatically
enters standby mode. Thirty seconds before that, it
will issue a beep alert. To turn it on again, simply
tap the Dial. In standby mode the LCD monitor
turns off and the food processor reduces its
power consumption.
The Yämmi has an LED on the Dial that changes
colour depending on the temperature of the mixing
bowl or pan. It displays Blue for temperatures up to
60°C and Red for temperatures above 60°C.
