10. Eriba-Troll mounting set
The Eriba-Troll mounting set allows the manoeuvring assistant
to be mounted behind the axle on an Eriba-Troll caravan / trailer.

11. Short mounting system
Replacement for standard mounting system if this cannot be
used due to lack of space and to compensate for the height
(30 or 60 mm) of substructures such as tanks.

In some cases installation is not possible because of the
design of the sub-frame. Contact your dealer if necessary.
Detailed installation instructions are included with each
mounting set.
The manoeuvring assistant must not be fitted to
caravans / trailers with other frames.
The vehicle frame must not be drilled (except when using the
low chassis kit*) or welded. Wheel suspension parts must not
be removed under any circumstances.
* In the case of the AL-KO Vario III / AV chassis, the vehicle
frame must under no circumstances be drilled into even if the
low chassis kit is used.

Selecting a location

The manoeuvring assistant should preferably be mounted in
front of the axle, but in exceptional circumstances (e.g. lack of
space) it is also possible to mount it behind the axle. Only use
the bolts provided (or the mounting parts available as special
accessories) to attach the manoeuvring assistant.

Mud guards

Proceed in accordance with these instructions only if a mud
guard is fitted. When a manoeuvring assistant is fitted behind
the axle, the existing mud guards must be moved / adapted if
necessary (max. distance between tyre / mud guard 300 mm).
The mud guards are installed behind the axle. No mud
guards are required in front of the axle.

Adapting the mud guards
1. Remove the existing mud guards.
2. Fit the manoeuvring assistant.
3. If necessary, make recesses in the mud guard for the apron
contour
4. Secure the mud guard 300 mm from the tyre on the under-
side of the caravan.

Fitting the drive elements

The frame of the vehicle must be free of rust, grease and
heavy soiling. There must be no damage in the area of the
wheel suspension.
The wheels and tyres fitted on the caravan must be of the
same size and type, and must be inflated in accordance with
manufacturer's instructions,
Remove all components from packing and place on the floor.

In order to guarantee the validity of the general operat-
ing permit (ABE), the data plates (f) provided must be
mounted on the right and left of the cross-strut next to the
holding sheets for the drive assemblies.
