10 Care for and maintain the ED07 pressure
regulator
Servicing the ED07 pressure regulator
No special care is required for the ED07 pressure regulator.
Damage to components!
Solvents and aggressive detergents will destroy the surface, labeling and seals of
the device!
O Only clean the device using a slightly damp cloth. Only use water to do this
and, if necessary, a mild detergent.
Danger of burns caused by hot coils!
Touching the valve coils during operating may lead to burns.
O Let the device cool off before disassembling.
O Do not touch the device during operation.
O Check that all seals and plugs for the plug connections are firmly fitted so that no
humidity can penetrate the ED07 pressure regulator during cleaning.
Maintaining the ED07 pressure regulator
The ED07 pressure regulator is maintenance-free.
O However, the system-specific maintenance intervals must be observed.
Check the ED07 pressure regulator seals
The seals in the ED07 pressure regulator may age faster under aggressive ambient
conditions. Defective seals will lead to pneumatic leaks and non-compliance with the
IP65 protection class.
O Every now and then, check that the seals on the pressure regulator are in perfect
order.

NOTICE
CAUTION
Remedy
Connect the power supply.
Check the polarity of the
power supply.
Switch on system
component.
Stipulate a set point.
Connect the supply
pressure.
Increase the supply
pressure.
Reduce air consumption
Use a device with a larger
nominal width (e.g. ED12)
Make sure that the housing
ventilation port is open
Exchange the ED07
pressure regulator
Check the gasket and
exchange if necessary
Tighten screws with 6 Nm
torque
Exchange the ED07
pressure regulator
Correctly replace pneumatic
connections on the base
plate (see „Attach base plate
pneumatic connections")
connect a silencer or a line
for restricted exhaust.
