EMC TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
The breast pump needs special precautions regarding EMC and needs to be installed and put into service according to the EMC information
provided in the instructions for use. Portable and mobile RF communications can affect the breast pump.
NOTICE
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
• This device may not cause harmful interference
• This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B Digital Device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These
limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and
can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio
communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful
interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct
the interference by one or more of the following measures:
• Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
• Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.

• This breast pump should not be used adjacent to or stacked with other equipment. If adjacent or stacked use is necessary, this breast pump
should be observed to verify normal operation in the configuration in which it will be used.
• Use of accessories or cables other than those provided by Medela could result in increased electromagnetic emissions or decreased
electromagnetic immunity of this equipment and result in improper operation.

Electromagnetic environment – guidance
The breast pump uses RF energy only for its internal function. Therefore, its RF emissions are very
low and are not likely to cause any interference in nearby electronic equipment.
The breast pump is suitable for use in all establishments, including domestic establishments and
those directly connected to the public low-voltage power supply network that supplies buildings
used for domestic purposes.
