6.1.3. Use of the headphone socket
Portable devices, e.g. CD player or MP3 player, can be connected to the audio equip-
ment socket "M P 3 L I N K " (top of loudspeaker panel, jack Ø = 3.5 mm).
 Set the audio device to a medium volume. Then switch it off.
NOTE
If the volume decreases after switching off the audio device, set the vol-
ume back to a medium level after connecting the audio device. If the
volume on the audio device is too low, there may be disruptions in the
transmission between the transmitter and the loudspeaker panel.
 Plug the connector into the headphone output socket on the audio device.
6.2. Switching the loudspeaker panel and subwoofer
on
 Press the STANDBY button on the top of the loudspeaker panel or the STANDBY
button on the remote control to switch the units on.
 Wait for the automatic connection between the loudspeaker panel and sub-
woofer.
If the connection is established, the display on the front of the loudspeaker pan-
el will light up blue and the Pair LED on the subwoofer will light up green.
The units are now ready for operation.
 If the connection between the loudspeaker panel and subwoofer is not estab-
lished, the display will light up purple and the Pair LED on the subwoofer will re-
main red or purple. In this case please connect the units manually.
 Switch on the audio device, select a medium volume and start playback.
NOTE
If a TV or external device is connected via the AUX IN or MP3 Link con-
nection then the loudspeaker panel and subwoofer will switch on au-
tomatically when the respective television or the external device is
switched on. This function is not available for the devices that are con-
nected via the optical input.
If the TV or the external device are disconnected or switched off, then
the loudspeaker panel and subwoofer will switch off automatically after
five minutes.
Likewise, if the volume on the television or an external device is too low,
then the loudspeaker panel and subwoofer will switch off after about
five minutes.
