7 – Installation and setting
Mounting the additional handle (7)
(Figure 2)
The additional handle (7) can be
mounted on the right or left of the
quick-action drill chuck with safe-
guard, depending on preference.
Loosen the handle piece (a) from
the additional handle (7) by turning it

anti-clockwise, so that it can be slid

over the quick-action drill chuck with
safeguard (9) over the collar (b).
Tighten the handle piece (a) by turn-
ing it clockwise until the additional
handle (7) is firmly connected to the
power tool.
Mounting and setting the depth
stop (Figure 4)
Loosen the handle piece (a/Figure 2)
on the additional handle (7) by turn-
ing it to the left.
Push the depth stop into the open-
ing to the length of the inserted drill.
Do this by pushing the drill against
an even wall.
Read the relevant value on the depth
stop's scale and deduct the desired
drilling depth from this value.
Set the new value by moving the
depth stop (8) and read off at the
dot (Fig. 4).
Tighten the handle piece (a/Figure 2)
on the additional handle (7) by turn-
ing to the right.
Revolution pre-selection (Figure 5)
CAUTION! Unplug from the
power source!
The rotation speed pre-selec-
tion function enables the
motor rotation speed to be
adapted to the respective insert tool
and material (Fig. 5).
• Turn the speed controller (6) on
the on/off switch (5) according to
the scale. The maximum speed
of the power tool is reduced or
increased.
