Wait until the end of D-MATRIX 8T initialization procedure (the display shows D-MATRIX FRACARRO);
•
To access the front panel menu, press V, type the user code (default user code is 1234) and confirm by
pressing √;
•
Proceed on the headend settings as instructed below (see the paragraph 5.1. BASIC PROGRAMMING
FROM THE FRONT PANEL);
•
Check the RF digital output signal available by using a field meter;
•
Connect the RF output connector to the coaxial distribution network.
It's possibile to manage the headend via the web interface as an alternative of basic programming from the
front panel (see the paragraph 5.2 PROGRAMMING BY WEB INTERFACE).
If required, the product can be reset to the factory default settings.
WARNING: if factory default settings has been performed on the compact headend, English is the default
language.
After the factory default settings, the D-Matrix 8T will have to be reprogrammed, as the preset parameters
may not coincide with the required ones.
5.1 BASIC PROGRAMMING FROM THE FRONT PANEL
The D-MATRIX 8T can be set using the keypad and display directly from the front panel. Press √ key to access
the programming menu and input the user code (default code is 1234), then confirm the code by pressing √
key again. Use the arrow up and down keys to scroll the menu and to select the required parameter, press √
key to confirm and enter the selected parameter. To exit the selection press X key.
When viewing a parameter, use the arrow right and left keys to select/change the required value, then press
X key to exit (no confirmation is required). Use the 0-9 keypad to insert a numeric value (if required), then
press √ key to confirm.
NOTE: The interface configuration timeout is 5 minutes: after the timeout, if no other changes or setting has
been made on the headend, the last saved or the factory default configuration is reinstated on the product.
The menu is available in various languages. To change the menu language, access the main "LANGUAGE"
menu, select the required language and press √ key to confirm.

Arrow up / arrow down keys: To surf among the various menu items;

Arrow left / arrow right keys: To select the parameter value;
•
√: To confirm an input value or enter a menu or submenu;
•
X: To cancel an input value or to exit a menu or a submenu;
•
S: To save the changes;
