The unit can be configured by web interface.
After configuring the network parameters using the front panel and connecting the unit to the local network,
or to a PC using a cross lead, it's possibile to manage the D-MATRIX 8T by using the web browser built-in.
EXAMPLE (D-MATRIX 8T to laptop DIRECT CONFIGURATION): Change the IP address of the compact hea-
dend using one that belongs to the same subnet as the one set in the LAN local ethernet of the laptop.
Parameters set in the ethernet PC card:
• IP: 192.168.0.3
• SUBNET MASK: 255.255.255.0
• GATEWAY: 192.168.0.1
Parameters to check or change in the D-MATRIX 8T network settings:
• IP: 192.168.0.2 (IP address must belong to the same in the network)
• SUBNET MASK: 255.255.255.0
• GATEWAY: 192.168.0.1
Connect the D-MATRIX 8T compact headend to the PC by using a CAT 5e UTP (or higher) ethernet cross-
cable. Start a web browser session (recommended: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox).
In the web browser address bar, type the IP address associated to the D-MATRIX 8T headend (IP 192.168.0.2
on the example); on the authentication request window, shown in picture 1, type the username and password
user data (the following are the factory settings):
