The CONFIGURATION -> COMMON INTERFACE -> CAM1 / CAM2 menu is used to access the Professional
CAM module relevant configuration pages. The new page will appear as shown in the figure below:
The name of the CAM in the slot is shown at the top. If "No Module" message appears on the top, the CAM
module is not correctly inizialized.
The ASSOCIATE TO selection dropdown menu allow to set the operating mode of the selected CAM module:
if the CAM is setup of one of the different input (INPUT1 or INPUT2 or INPUT3 or INPUT4 or INPUT5 or
INPUT6 or INPUT7 or INPUT8) the CAM module will be associated ONLY to the selected input and it will
decrypt the programs received ONLY from that input;
If the CAM is setup to the FLEX mode, the CAM will decrypt any program coming from any of the 8 TV
inputs.
The input column shows from which input the program received is coming from; the "free to air" column
shows whether the program is free to air or encrypted; by flagging the "decrypt" column checkbox the desi-
dered program can be enabled for decryption.
The CAM advanced functions can be selected by clicking the relevant keys, as follows:
RESET CAM: to reset/restart the CAM module inserted in the slot;
COMMON MENU INTERFACE: to access the common interface menu (only enabled if the CAM supports
this function) (see fig. 6);
SHOW CAM MESSAGES: shows the CAM messages (only enabled if there are pending messages);
ADVANCED SETTINGS: change the advanced settings in the CAM module (see fig. 7)
