GUARANTEE
Our softener range are guaranteed for a period of 3 years excluding consumables, excluding accessories.
The company DSC guarantees your device 3 years. If a fault should occur due to defective manufacture or materials, DSC shall meet the cost
of repair work on the defective part(s). If the product cannot be repaired by DSC, then the product or defective part shall be exchanged within
the period of guarantee.
Guarantee conditions
The guarantee comes into effect when we have received the returned guarantee card, providing the card has been returned within 15 days
of the date of purchase. The guarantee card must be carefully completed and the retailer's or installation technician's invoice should also be
attached. In the event of a malfunction, contact our customer support department by email, specifying the type of product/model and your
contact details. Following approval, customer support will indicate the appropriate action concerning the malfunction. The guarantee shall
only be valid if the product has been properly installed, serviced and used, following the order and instructions specified in the technical
documentation or on the packaging. The guarantee only covers products. The guarantee does not cover consumables (cartridges, salts,
resins, lamps, seals) or accessories (mounting brackets, adapters, seals, unions, hoses, pressure gauges, switches, indicator lights, fuses,
power cables).
The guarantee does not cover the following
- Repair work carried out directly, on equipment or spare parts, without prior approval by customer support.
- Incorrect utilisation, non-respect of the instructions, or any other modification or adaptation.
- Damage due to a cause outside the product, such as being dropped, electrical overvoltage, lightning strike, storm, fire, high winds, natural
disaster, flood damage, entry of any foreign body or animal into the equipment, drilled holes not properly sealed, wrong equipment
connections (tube, hose, union, etc.), not compliant with standards, technical documentation or normal practice.
- Damage sustained during transport.
- Installation in a country other than where the equipment was purchased.
- Installation for collective use or on industrial sites, when such utilisation is not specified in the technical documentation.
- Installation on a pipe system that does not receive water from the public water supply (except when specified in the instructions).
- Installation on a pipe system that is not protected against freezing or extreme temperatures, as specified in the instructions (technical
documentation or on packaging).
- Installation on a pipe system with a pressure exceeding 4 bar (IN SERVICE).
- Electrical connection of the equipment to an unsuitable power source that is not 230 V AC.
- Following transfer of the equipment to a third party, even with payment.
- Installation in ambient temperatures outside the range +5°C to +35°C.
- Installation outdoors.
Safety instructions relating to electrical water quality equipment and that must be observed for the guarantee to be valid
Before using the equipment, carefully read the instructions below and keep them to hand for future reference if necessary.
- Carefully read the instructions in the technical and user documentation, relating to safety precautions specific to the utilisation of each
device.
- The electrical device emits slight magnetic radiation. Users of a heart stimulator (pacemaker) who notice any abnormal symptoms should
move away from the device and consult a doctor.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the device: it contains high voltages and parts that are very hot. There is a risk of burns, fire or
electric shock.
Positioning the equipment
- Do not position the equipment close to alcohol, thinners or any other flammable substance. Contact between such substances and the
internal electrical parts of the device could cause fire or electric shock.
- Place the equipment on a plane, firm surface, not subject to vibration and sufficiently strong to bear the weight.
- Do not place objects around the power cable plug, so that it can be quickly disconnected at any time.
- Relative humidity in the room must be between 20% and 80%.
- Do not expose the device to direct sunlight.
