6 - SETTING THE WATER VOLUME BETWEEN 2 RECHARGE (to set up upon installation):
NB : Cationic resins only have a certain hardness treatment capacity, i.e. after a certain volume has been
treated, the resin is saturated and the water is no longer treated.
This phase is therefore essential to maintain a permanent supply of soft water !
Firstly, you need to know the hardness of the (untreated) water in your system, which is expressed in
French degrees (°f).
Let the hardness be (D). The volume of water (V) between 2 recharges, is then given by this formula
(for an outlet TH of 10°f) :
Example : for a water with 37 °f hardness, the volume would be 3,30 m
