9. Adjusting the mixing
At the front of the head, a brass screw allows fine adjustment of the residual water hardness (hardness
of water delivered by the water softener).
It is not recommended to soften your mains water to 0ºF.
It is important to obtain a TH value close to, but not below 10 ºf.
To adjust the hardness of your water, unscrew (anti-clockwise) the knob to increase the TH value.
we advise you to make the adjustment in several steps. The more precise your adjustment, the more
effective and controlled your treatment will be.
> Screw the knob fully in
> Unscrew 3 turns
> Measure water hardness using TH test strips or a reagent (not included)
> Adjust the knob in half turn increments until approaching 10 ºf (screw to decrease/unscrew to
increase).
10. Prolonged absence from home
In the event of prolonged absence in the house, it is strongly recommended to disconnect the softener
(especially if the water is cut off during this absence) and on your return to reconnect the softener and
to manually launch a regeneration with ideally a disinfection of the resins*
*to carry out the disinfection of the resins, refer to chapter 11. (SERVICING) of the softener.
