4. Installing the outlets
REMINDER : Install the water softener close to a waste water evacuation system (drain).
Install a PVC waste water drain pipe close to the bottom of the water softener.
The recommended diameter for the PVC pipe is 32 or 40 mm.
Bond the siphon with the standard isolator (not supplied) onto the PVC pipe.
BRINE EVACUATION
Rub soap on the end of the PVC hose (supplied) and push it onto the pipe stub on the back of the water
softener head. Secure the hose on the stub using the tyrap (supplied).
> Connect the other end of the PVC hose onto the siphon. If necessary, bond it onto the siphon
with silicone sealer (not supplied).
> IMPORTANT: The siphon must not be higher than the water softener head. Connect the other
end of the flexible PVC pipe to one of the two inlets of the anti-backflow siphon.
> IMPORTANT : Check that there is no twist or bend in the hose.
OVERFLOW OUTLET
In the same way, connect the overflow of your softener to the second inlet of the anti-backflow siphon.
The overflow connection elbow is located on the side of the appliance.
