The following LED codes indicate an error condition of the charger. For details on how to clear the error, refer to the steps
in the Troubleshooting section at the end of this manual.
Red light turns on briefly then goes out Check for valid AC voltage to charger.

NOTICE:
Always connect the mower to the charger when the unit
is not in use. If it is not possible to leave the mower char-
ger connected, make sure to charge the batteries fully at
least once a month.

SAFETY INTERLOCK SYSTEM

See Figure 9.
This mower features a Safety Interlock System to protect the
operator by shutting off the blades if the operator leaves the
seat with the blades running. Test the system before each
use to be sure it is working correctly.
To test:
 Make sure direction control switch is in neutral (N) position
and blade engage knob is down.
 Install start key and turn to ON position.
 Raise blade engage knob to activate blades.
 Briefly lift off the seat, but do not get off the mower.
The blades should shut off within 5 seconds. If they don't,
contact customer service. Do not operate the mower until
the safety interlock system has been repaired.
OPERATING THE MOWER
See Figures 9 - 11.
WARNING:
Clear the area of bystanders before operating the mower.
If anyone enters the mowing area, stop immediately and
do not return to mowing until the bystanders leave the
area.
Before starting the mower:
 Ensure work area is clear of children, bystanders, and
pets.
OPERATION
BATTERY/CHARGER STATUS
Batteries are less than 80% charged.
Batteries are more than 80% charged.
Batteries are fully charged.
Charge Enable Fault

 Clear the work area of objects that may be thrown by the
