Installation of the door station
Opening the caller station
Unscrew the 6 screws on the front of the roadside
caller station using the tool provided to open
the unit. The screws are secure, it is necessary
to keep the tool provided in a safe place as you
will need it later for the maintenance of your
caller station.
Fixing your caller station
The caller station is manufactured in a
professional quality high strength ABS/PC enclosure required for outdoor
installations. Rubber gaskets protect the housing from dust, rain, snow and spray
ensuring reliable operation in harsh environments. The caller station meets IP54
standards and operates at temperatures from -20˚C to 50˚C. In addition, the
protective hood reinforces this resistance.
Important: avoid installing the caller station on metal surfaces or near
electronic systems that could significantly reduce the range. A remote
aerial can be used for these specific environments.
Pick a location that isn't too rough near your front door. We recommend a
light polishing to achieve a flat surface, otherwise you may not install the caller
station correctly for the long term.
Make marks on your wall using the holes in the hood as a template. Drill the
wall with a bit corresponding to the diameter of the dowels provided. Then insert
the dowels into the holes.
Pass all the cables necessary for
your installation (power supply, gate
connection, remote aerial, etc.) through
the wall and the central hole in the hood
provided for this purpose.
Mount your hood to the wall using
the screws provided (or suitable for the
installation surface).
