Settings of UltraCOM3 handsets
Switch the handset on/off
To switch the handset on or off, you can simply press and hold the ON/OFF key
. Also note that a switched off handset will automatically switch on when placed
on its charging station.
Warning: a switched off handset cannot receive calls from the caller station.
It also won't show a missed call notification when turned back on.
Selecting the alert mode
You can choose the alert mode of your handset (ring, vibration and/or visual
indicator). Handset switched on, press
for 2 seconds. Then use the volume
combination of your choice (depending on your selection, the handset will display
the corresponding icon, see page 7 for the meaning of the icons). Finally, briefly
press the "hang up" key

Note: If you select an alert that includes vibration, the handset battery is
