Aerial
If necessary, you can easily add a remote aerial to your installation (not supplied,
available on our site). It optimises the range of the UltraCOM3 by avoiding major
obstacles near the panel: thick walls, metal elements, interference, trees, buildings,
etc. It will offer the possibility of transmitting the signal. Simply screw the remote
aerial to the flexible cable (remove the red cap) on the back of the plate. For
operation with the remote aerial, you must select the EXTERNAL option from the
UltraCOM3 menu.
To do this, unlock the caller station (see page 11),

enter the AERIAL menu using the button
choose between INTERNAL and EXTERNAL using
the button . Confirm your choice by pressing the
button .
Important: If you do not have a remote aerial, the aerial mode must be
set to INTERNAL. The system will then use the internal aerial. The flexible
connection cable is then not used and can simply be left on the back of the
caller station (with its red cap).
