Conversation is now possible and the visitor's voice can be heard in the
handset loudspeaker. To answer the visitor, press and hold the push-to-talk button
(PTT) and speak into the microphone. Release the push-to-talk button when you
have finished talking to receive communication from the caller station. Please
note that the visitor's voice is muted while pressing the push-to-talk button. Press

During or after the conversation, you have the option of opening your gate or
latch remotely using the button

For residents equipped with several handsets, all handsets receive the call
signal. However, only the handset which is picked up first (blue key
converse with the visitor. The other handsets return to idle mode and their buttons
are disabled while the call is in progress.

In the event that no one answers a call (for example if you are absent), the

The UltraCOM3 has automatic call termination. If you do not communicate
with your visitor for 90 seconds (no press of the communication key), the
call ends automatically. These features are useful for conserving battery and
protecting your privacy if you forget to end a call.
