Setting up the patient - WHEELCHAIR

Make sure the straps are clean.
Put the unit in the position that is the most comfortable for the patient.
• Place the patient comfortably in the wheelchair, with their back against the chair back and the wheelchair brake on, and ask
them to support the affected arm.
• Position The device Kinetec Centura B&W™ as close as possible to the wheelchair and lock the wheel brakes.
• Unscrew the knob (7) and adjust the slope of the splint (47) and motor unit so that the shoulder depth adjustment bar (46)
is parallel to the patient's upper body or in another position (see page 16).
• Slide the splint (47) and motor unit toward the patient by loosening the knob (4) and place the patient's arm in the
supports. Strap the arm in position.
• Adjust the length of the:
a – arm splint.
b – forearm splint.
