Connect the vent outlet

Fire and inhalation hazards. Potentially dangerous gases can be made
when samples are moved or analyzed. If there is any doubt about a
fire hazard or an inhalation hazard, keep the equipment under a fume
hood during the analysis.
C A U T I O N
Chemical exposure hazard. Dispose of chemicals and wastes in
accordance with local, regional and national regulations.
Required items:
• 6.35 mm (¼ in.) O.D. vent service line
• User defined fume exhaust
• Nut and ferrule
1. Connect the vent service line to the fume exhaust with the nut and
ferrule.
2. Make sure that the connection is tight and fix all leaks.
Connect the sample drain

Fire/explosion hazard. Do not use the instrument with samples or
liquids that have an ignition point below 90 °C (194 °F).

Connect the pressure inlet and vacuum exhaust
The pressure inlet is a 6.35 mm (¼-in.) connection. The connection
keeps the ABS 2 line pressure at or below 60 PSI (413.7 kPa).
The pressure line is installed from either the house air (clean dry air) or
from the pressure port of the pressure/vacuum pump. For house air and
vacuum, install the 6.35 mm (¼-in.) cap supplied with the instrument on
the pressure/vacuum exhaust port.
Connect the inlet and exhaust as shown in
tubing.
