Recommendations for safe installation

Fire/explosion hazard. Do not use the instrument with samples or
liquids that have an ignition point below 90 °C (194 °F).

Fire and inhalation hazards. Potentially dangerous gases can be made
when samples are moved or analyzed. If there is any doubt about a
fire hazard or an inhalation hazard, keep the equipment under a fume
hood during the analysis.
C A U T I O N
Chemical exposure hazard. Obey laboratory safety procedures and
wear all of the personal protective equipment appropriate to the
chemicals that are handled. Refer to the current material safety data
sheets (MSDS) for safety protocols.

Chemical exposure hazard. Dispose of chemicals and wastes in
accordance with local, regional and national regulations.
Make sure that hazardous fluids or fluids that may produce hazardous
vapors are handled safely. These fluids must be handled in accordance
with local regulatory agency requirements on permissible exposure
limits.
Recommendations for safe handling include:
• Connect the vent outlet to an approved fume exhaust.
• Install the ball valve to keep fumes out of the environment.
• Connect the sample drain port to an approved container.
