Configuration with single-walled reactor vessel
The single-walled reactor vessel is directly centred with and connected to the
reactor cover using the lock ring.
Position the stainless steel cover plate on the tempering bath and centre the ves-
sel with the cork ring underneath the reactor cover. Lower the stand as far as the
top glass edge and secure the glass vessel by closing the clamping lever on the
lock ring.
When you insert the vessel, check that the sealing contact surface of the glass
vessel is undamaged and that the seal on the reactor cover fits properly.
Configuration with double-walled reactor vessel
The LR 2000.1 double-walled reactor vessels without bottom discharge
valve and LR 2000.2 double-walled reactor vessels with bottom dischar-
ge valve are set onto the cork ring provided.
Secure the reactor vessel using the clamping strap on the
stand. Screw the LT 5.24 hose adapters to the LT 5.20
tempering hoses.
You can mount the safety disconnector power box on either the left or the right
aluminium profile using two slider blocks. Insert the slider blocks into the profile
groove with the spring-loaded ball to the back. You do not need to remove the
baseplate. Position the slider blocks in the profile in such a way that you can

Then connected the fully assembled
hoses to the LT 6 control circulation
thermostat.
Lower the drive unit including reactor cover and anchor stirrer and
connect the reactor vessel to the cover by closing the lock ring. Firstly
check that the sealing surface on the glass vessel is intact and that
the seal on the reactor cover fits properly.

Slide the wireless safety switch down
to the bottom end of the top (thicker)
stand rod and secure it using the clam-
ping screw.
The assembled safety switch should
be pointing downwards. Turn the bra-
cket so that is positioned in such a way that it will not prevent
you from operating the clamping screw for the stand properly.
