Safety instructions

You must use suitable personal protective equipment (PPE) when using the laboratory reactor system!
All work with the reactor system must be carried out behind a protective screen or under a closed fume hood!
An EMERGENCY STOP switch must be fitted between the laboratory reactor and the mains power supply.
This must completely disconnect the equipment from the power supply in the event of an emegency. You
must use the reactor with the safety disconnector and the splinter guard provided.
Connect the laboratory stirrer and the disperser drive to the mains power supply over the LR-2.SI safety
disconnector. Connect these appliances to the multisocket on the safety disconnector only.
Appliances that need to continue operation once the reactor cover has been opened (e.g. thermostat), must
not be operated via the safety disconnector.
Implement the accident prevention regulations for this typ of activity and workplace. Wear your personal pro-
tective equipment at all times when working with the laboratory reactor.
Do not use flammable or explosive gases, vapours or solvents in the LR-2.ST laboratory reactor!
The appliance is not designed for use in explosion hazard (Ex-certificate) areas!
