en - Warning and Safety instructions
Caution: The vacuum cleaner handle, hose and Electrobrush con-
tain electrical connections. The handle, suction tube, suction hose
and Electrobrush are not parts which can be serviced by the user.
When vacuuming, in particular fine dust, e.g. sawdust, sand,
plaster, flour, talcum powder etc., electrostatic charges build up nat-
urally. Under certain conditions these charges will be released. To
avoid the unpleasant effects of these discharges, a metal inlay has
been incorporated into the underside of the handle. Please make
sure that you keep your hand in constant contact with this metal
strip during vacuuming.
The Electrobrush contains electrical connections. Do not use the
Electrobrush to suck up water or immerse the Electrobrush in water
for cleaning.
Repairs should only be carried out by a Miele authorised service
technician. Repairs and other work by unqualified persons can cause
considerable danger to users.
Miele can only guarantee the safety of the appliance when genu-
ine Miele replacement parts are used. Faulty components must only
be replaced with genuine Miele replacement parts.
Cleaning
Do not let the vacuum cleaner, the Electrobrush, the telescopic
suction tube and the suction hose get wet.
The Electrobrush, telescopic suction tube and suction hose con-
tain electrical cables. The plug connectors must not come into con-
tact with water. Danger of electric shock. They should only be
cleaned with a dry cloth.
Clean the vacuum cleaner and accessories only with a dry cloth or
slightly damp cloth. Exception:
– Dust container / fine dust container: clean only with water and a
little mild washing-up liquid, then dry thoroughly.
