At maximum capacity, the devices have an output signal of 1 mV/V.
The devices are hermetically sealed against the environment - so these are
absolute pressure transducers. The ambient pressure display, 1 bar of 5000
bar, for example, can be effortlessly tared away at the amplifier (should it inter­
fere in any way).
The device has reached the limit of its service life when the zero signal
changes by more than 5% or if obvious signs of deformation and damage that
are not part of the design become evident.

5.1 Measuring dynamic pressures

During dynamic stress, the maximum pressures should not be greater than the
nominal (rated) pressure and the oscillation width of the pressure fluctuations
should not exceed the nominated values.
The transducers are designed for these loadings, but the actual conditions
from the operating load and the typical spread require safety measures against
the transducer bursting.

HBM is endeavoring to further increase the dynamic resistance.
Calibration related to static pressures is also applicable when measuring
dynamic pressures. Please note that with measurement frequencies in the nat­
ural frequency range, amplitude reinforcements are to be expected.
