2.2 Safety instructions for inspection and installation work

The safety instructions in the installation and operating instructions for the
whole system must be observed during all work carried out on the pump(s).
WARNING! Danger of electric shock
Exposure to electrical currents must be eliminated.
Work on pump(s) and the unit must only be carried out when they are
stationary, switched off at the mains and with suitable tools.

3 Transport and interim storage

Check the product for damage in transit immediately on arrival. If damage is
found, the necessary procedure involving the forwarding agent must be fol-
lowed within the specified period.
CAUTION! Risk of damage to the pump
Danger of damage due to improper handling during transport and storage.
• The pump must be protected from moisture, frost and mechanical damage
during transport and interim storage.
• It must not be exposed to temperatures outside the range - 10°C to + 70°C.
4 Use
High-efficiency pumps in the Wilo-Stratos PARA series are used to pump
liquids in
• hot water heating systems
• air-conditioning, cooling and cold water circuits
• heat pumps
• solar systems
• closed industrial circulation systems.

WARNING! Danger to health
Pumps in the Wilo-Stratos PARA series must not be used in connection with
drinking water or foods.
