8.3. Metering

This function allows you to determine the range for measuring
light for the photos or video recordings.

The light in the entire shooting range is
measured but the measurement is weighted
towards the values near the centre.
An exposure is selected on the basis of
the measurements at several places in the
shooting range.
An exposure is selected on the basis of one
single measurement in the centre of the
picture.
