Upper Threading
CAUTION
Turn off the power to the machine before threading the upper thread. Otherwise, it may cause injuries if you unintentionally press down on the foot controller.

✽ Before threading the machine, prepare it as described below.

1 Raise the presser foot lever.
2 Turn the handwheel toward you until the thread take-up lever is positioned
as shown in the diagram. The needle is raised to it's highest position.
3 Pass the thread through the triangular hole of the thread guide bar. (page 12)

the thread through all holes
(*1). If the thread still tangles
or breaks, use a different
