Functional description
In case of product shortage, water shortage or a malfunction, the appliance switches off
immediately.
The red LED (pos. 19b) signals the error with different flashing intervals
see also

Description of the safety devices:
Water Flow Pressure Monitoring
The water pulse monitor permanently monitors the water flow pressure (water flow rate)
during the tapping process. The electronics evaluate the pressure.
If the pulse rate falls below a critical value (< 150 l/h), i.e. the minimum permissible water
flow pressure of approx. 8 MPa (0,8 bar) is not reached, the tapping process is interrupted
immediately and the LED flashes red.
Solenoid valve monitoring
While the unit is idle, the water pulse meter monitors the solenoid valve to make sure that
it closes smoothly. If water flows through the solenoid valve although it is not activated,
the LED flashes red.
Flow rate restriction
A flow regulator is installed in the solenoid valve (Fig. 2, pos. 4) on the inlet side to limit
the max. water flow.
The flow control version depends on the set concentration:

< = 3 %: Version 14 l/min (Standard)
> 3 %: Version 10 l/min (Optional).

Product flow monitoring
The flow monitor installed upstream of the dosing point (see Fig. 2 pos. 15) monitors the
disinfectant flow.
If the product flow is interrupted as a result of a defect in the dosing pump, the suction
line, the drive or the level suction lance, or if an incorrect product is used, the unit goes
into fault mode and the LED flashes red.
Product shortage shutdown - Pre-empty message
Via the suction lance with level electrodes, the following is displayed (alternating) when
the residual quantity falls below a certain level:

If the level electrodes of the suction lance do not detect any product, the LED flashes red.
Main power failure safety system:
The unit control has DIP switch elements for concentration adjustment as well as a
potentiometer for calibrating the pump. This means that the unit settings are not lost in the
event of a mains power failure.
System isolation
The integrated system separation in accordance with DIN EN 1717 reliably prevents
disinfectant from entering the drinking water supply system in the event of negative
pressure occurring in the water supply line.
