Maintenance work
Electrical cables, mains transformer:
Check all electrical lines for damage
n
(especially the transformer)
n Exchange in case of damage.
Electr. Components are subject to regular
inspection in accordance with DGUV V3.
The inspection intervals (max. 4 years) are
determined by the operator according to a
risk assessment.
Concentration setting:
n Checking the concentration see
Ä Chapter 7.5 'Checking the Concentration'
on page 35.
Flow monitor, function test, tightness of the
pressure maintenance valve:
n Loosen the flow monitor from the screw
connection: If disinfectant escapes, the flow
monitor must be replaced.
Dosing pump leak test:
n Look for any leakage of concentrate on the
piston rod with the device switched on.
If product leaks: Replace O-rings on piston/
piston rod, replace metering pump if
necessary.
System separation:
n Check the free path for soiling and
directional jet discharge.
n Clean the jet regulator and replace it if
necessary.
n Check the pipe interrupter DB for leaks.
n Replace rubber membrane or pipe
interrupter.
Swivel spout:
n Dismantle the swivel spout.
n Press the pipe wall firmly with your fingers
after the first 90° bend on the outlet side.
n If dented = material wear.
n Replace the swivel spout.
Suction lance (function test / leak test):
n Immerse beaker with disinfectant up to below
the electrodes of the suction lance; if the
dosing pump sucks in air, the hose in the
suction lance is defective.
Replace suction lance or hose.
