Microbiological examination of decentralized disinfectant metering units

Responsibility for the correct operation of the metering unit in accordance with the RKI
guidelines on "Design criteria, properties and operation of decentralized disinfectant
metering units" (Federal Health Bulletin 2004 . 47: 67-72).
The annually required hygienic-technical inspections are described in the operating and
assembly instructions of the dosing units in the item Maintenance.
If the end user conducts a test for a situation-related hygienic-microbiological verification
of the metering device, Ecolab suggests the process described in RKI recommendation
"Requirement for hygiene in the cleaning and disinfection of surfaces" (Federal Health
Bulletin 2004-47: 51-61, point 4.5) implemented, this should be carried out as described in
Ä Chapter 10.1 'Specifications for microbiological testing of decentralised disinfectant
dispensers' on page 44.
