⇒ Shorten the suction tubes to the required length for both suction points.
⇒ Screw the end fittings onto the suction tubes (left turn thread).
⇒ Place the suction tube onto the suction port (6A / 6B).

Observe the allocation of the device sockets (A, B) – suction channel (A, B).
⇒ Connect the suction tube to the correct suction point.
If the diameter is not suitable, use an adapter (see accessories), to avoid loss of suction.
⇒ Connect the electrical equipment to the device sockets (8A / 8B) on the back.

When connecting the electrical equipment to the suction unit, ensure that the sum of the electri-
cal power from the connected electrical appliances does not exceed the maximum permissible
total power (see "Tech. Data" at the end of this document).
⇒ Switch the device off at the on / off switch (3).
⇒ Unroll the mains cable (9) and insert the plug into the building's electrical socket.
Operation
Low-dust disposal of the extracted material is only possible if the waste bag is used.
⇒ Before beginning to work, check that a waste bag has been inserted in the dust drawer.
Waste bags and the starter kit waste bag are available as accessories.
Switching On
The suction unit is switched on and off via the on / off switch (3).
After activation:
♦ The suction unit performs an automatic filter cleaning sequence
(for approx. 8 seconds, loud vibrating noise).
Stand-by
In the stand-by mode the display is dark.
Leave stand-by mode:
• Press any button.
• Switch on any electrical appliance connected to the extractor.
Select vacuum channel
Start / stop suction turbine and open / close corresponding pinch valve valve:
• Automatically:
The electrical appliance connected to the device socket (8A / 8B) is activated /
deactivated.
• Manually:
By pressing a suction hose button (29).
If the suction to a connected electrical appliance (e.g. a handpiece) does not react as required
(e.g. does not activate, even though a connected device is in operation) then the switch-on
threshold for automatic operation must be adjusted.
Suction Power
⇒ Press the [-] key (31): Reduce suction
⇒ Press the [+] key (33): Increase suction
Setting the Parameter
On delivery, there are parameters set, which in most cases, make it possible to work with the suction unit
without problems. Only in individual cases, if this is not possible, the parameters can be changed.
The setting of various parameters and the execution of a self-diagnosis are carried out in the program-
ming mode.
Information on how to set the parameters and perform a self-diagnosis can be found in the oper-
ating instructions in the Internet or in Figs. D and E at the start of this manual.
