Air filter
• Remove the air filter cover, then carefully remove the
filter element.
• Clean the air filter chamber with a damp cloth.
• Clean the filter element with warm soapy water as
required. Dry completely before installation.
• Replace the filter element if damaged or deformed.
• Restore the filter element and replace the air filter cover.
• WARNING! Do not clean with gasoline and any flamable
solvents.
Spark plug (replacement model NHSP LD L8RTF)
• Make sure the engine is completely stopped and cooled
down.
• Remove the spark plug with a suitable spark plug
wrench.
• Visually inspect the spark plug for any sign of worn or
damage. If yes, replace with a new one.
• The desired plug gap is between 0,60 to 0,70 mm.
• Install and tighten the spark plug with torque between
9,8 to 11,8 Nm.
Silicencer
• Make sure the engine is completely stopped and cooled
down.
• Visually inspect the silicencer for loose fasteners,
damage or corrosion.
• For cleaning, remove the silicencer, then insert a
screwdriver into the vent to remove any accummulated
carbon and dust.
Gearbox
• With using a grease pump, feed lubricating grease into the gearbox until grease come out
of the base of blade. (Fig. 12)

• Clean the blade.
• Make sure the blade bolts are well tightened.
• Use machine oil bottle to apply lubricating oil on the blade. (Fig. 13a)
• Sharpen the blade, if necessary. (Fig. 13b)
- Maintain the file or disk grinder at an angle of 45° to the blade surface.

Grind in the direction of the cutting edge. If file is used, file in one direction only.

Remove as little material as possible.
