n Stretching in external rotation
With the special „Stretching in external
rotation" function the carriage gently
stretches the joint towards the outside.
Starting at the middle position the car-
riage will first move to the programmed
internal rotation position and then to
the programmed external rotation
position.
Subsequently the carriage reverses
5° towards internal rotation and then
moves very slowly back again to the
programmed external rotation position
(display ). After that it attempts to
attain another 5°, moving even slower
than before (display
If a high resistance toward the ad-
ditional 5 ° is sensed, the reverse on
load function is automatically activated
and the carriage moves in the opposite
direction.
This stretch cycle is repeated ten times.
After that the carriage moves to
the programmed maximum internal
rotation position and restarts the exter-
nal stretch cycle.
This sequence can be repeated as often
as needed. You can stop treatment
with the STOP key; after the pro-
grammed therapy duration, it will stop
automatically.
Default: disabled
Note!
– If a pause is programmed when you
enable the function, the carriage will
stop for the duration of the pause
each time the maximum stretching
value is attained.
– Enabling the stretching in external
rotation function automatically
disables motor A. The only move-
ment performed is internal / external
rotation.
– It is not possible to combine a second
stretching function with the special
function „stretching in external
rotation".
– During operation, the display will
show the symbol
