REPLACING THE BATTERY

Never open the battery before having disconnected it from all external electric
sources.
The clamp must not enclose any conductor.
Set the switch to the OFF position.
Remove the battery compartment from the lower unit, held in place by a tool release
screw.
Replace the used batteries by 1.5 V batteries (LR6) in accordance with the polarity marked
on the case.
Refit the battery compartment.
CLEANING
Handles and case: Clean with a cloth or a sponge dampened with soapy water. Wipe off in
the same way. Never allow running water on the clamp. Dry with a cloth or hot air.
Storage: Do not leave the clamp in very damp places, or exposed to running water. If the
clamp has not been used for more than 60 days, remove the batteries and store them
separately.
Recalibration: To maintain the operating performance of the clamp, we advise that you have
it checked or recalibrated every year.
Maintenance: For maintenance, only use specified spare parts. The manufacturer
can not be held responsible for any accident that may occur following a repair made
other than by its after sales service or approved repairers.
CALIBRATION
It is essential that all measuring instruments are regularly calibrated.
For occasional daily use, we recommend that an annual calibration be carried out.
When the instrument is used continuously every day, we recommend that a calibration is
carried out every 6months.
