MAX / MIN: recording of max/min
This button gives access to record mode and, by successive presses, reading of the max, min,
average and current value on main display.
RECORD: Current value
NB: It is possible to defer input in RECORD mode, by pressing HOLD, then MAX/MIN. The
RECORD mode is then selected on HOLD but is not run. The recording will start when
HOLD mode is exited. This procedure can be useful to start a recording at a particular
point in time and also to avoid registering untimely max and min values when setting up
the clamp.
RECORD: Recording
Press this button once: RECORD is displayed; operation is permanent.
The clamp records the max and min values, and calculates the true average value since
the beginning of the recording. It is possible for the recording to last for more than 24h.
The displays and the bargraph continue to give the current values. At each new max or
min recorded, a beep is emitted. The RECORD mode only concerns the values of the main
display.
NB: If SMOOTH mode is run before recording, the filtered values are recorded.
Press the SMOOTH button during recording to cancel the recorded values;
RECORD mode is reinitialised on SMOOTH.
Reading of current frequency measurements is possible on RECORD, but fre-
quencies are not recorded.
MAX: reading the max value
Press this button a second time: MAX is displayed.
The digital display gives the max value recorded.
The bargraph continues to give the current RMS value.
MIN: reading the min value
Press this button a third time: MIN is displayed.
The digital display gives the min value recorded.
The bargraph continues to give the current RMS value.
AVG: Reading the average value
Press this button a fourth time: AVG is displayed.
The digital display gives the calculated average value.
The bargraph continues to give the current RMS value.
