13. Do not place the appliance or lead
cable near open flames during ope-
ration.
14. Always use the slicer on a level and
uncluttered surface.
15. Make sure that the lead cable
does not hang over the edge of the
worktop or table, since this can
cause accidents, for example if
small children pull on the cable.
16. Route the lead cable so that it is
prevented from being pulled or trip-
ped over.
17. Never wrap the lead cable around
the appliance, but around the cable
storage.
18. Always disconnect the lead cable
from the wall socket pulling on the
plug, never on the cable.
19. Never carry the slicer by the lead
cable.
20. Use the slicer only indoors.
21. Children are not aware of the risks
resulting from electrical applian-
ces and cutting tools. Therefore the
slicer must not be used by children.
22. In order to avoid injuries, the rest
holder has to be placed on the car-
riage, as soon as the food is small
enough to place the rest holder.
23. Always use the rest holder for sli-
cing of small pieces of food.
24. The appliance must not be used for
any other than the provided pur-
pose. Only use it for cutting food,
that does not contain bones or any
other hard parts.
The manufacturer will not be liable in the event of incorrect assembly, improper or incorrect use or if
repairs are carried out by unauthorized third parties.

BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE

1.
Remove all packaging materials
and check, if all parts are com-
plete.
2.
Before using the appliance for the
first time, wipe it with a damp
cloth (see chapter Cleaning)

Place the slicer on a flat, clean,
solid, and dry surface.

25. After use of the slicer and before
cleaning it, pull the plug out of the
socket and adjust the cutting width
to 0.
26. Please avoid any contact between
the power cord and the knife or any
other sharp edges.
27. The knife is very sharp, be very cau-
tious when cleaning it!
28. Inexpert handling and repairs may
entail serious risks to the user.
Repairs should only be performed
by our after sales service.
29. The slicer is provided for domestic
use and is not suitable for com-
mercial use. Only use it for slicing
household quantities.
30. Do not use the appliance with
accessories of other manufacturers
or brands, to prevent damage.
31. Disconnect the appliance from the
wall socket after use and prior to
cleaning. Never leave the appliance
unattended when it is connected to
the wall socket.
32. Never open the casing of the slicer.
There is danger of electric shock.
33. Check the appliance, the wall socket
and the lead cable regularly for wear
or damage. In case the lead cable or
other parts appear damaged, please
send the appliance or the base to
our after sales service for inspection
and repair. Unauthorised repairs
can constitute serious risks for the
user and void the warranty.
Caution! The knife is very sharp,
risk of injuries!

Mount both parts of the carriage.
5.
Insert the carriage into the guide.
Hold it at a right angle and then
tilt it downward.
6.
Place the rest holder on the carri-
age and the food tray from the left
side under the carriage.
