5.3 Operation

Before first use
•
Before start-up remove the protective film from the device.
•
When the device has been completely assembled but before plugging it in, clean the
saladette and glass top. Follow the instructions in point 6.2 "Cleaning".
•
Plug the device in the single, earthed socket.
•
Turn the device on with ON/OFF power switch located on the front of the device.
The green control light of the power switch will illuminate. The digital display will
indicate the current temperature inside of the device.
•
Before placing any food products the device should reach the required temperature.
Digital temperature control
Basic settings of the temperature are pre-set and reflect the operating temperature in
the range of 0° C – 10° C inside of the device.
During normal operation of the device the digital display indicates the current temperature
inside of the device.
