Make sure that the mains cord does not get pinched, kinked or laid

over sharp edges and does not come into contact with hot surfaces.
Do not move the device during the boiling process.

Do not use the coffee maker without water.
■
Do not overfi ll the water tank to prevent the thermo cup / ceramic

cup from overfl owing later on! Always fi ll the water tank with an
amount of water that the cup located under the coffee spout is
capable of holding!
Never use the device without the thermo cup / ceramic cup or if

the respective cup is damaged.
Do not place the thermo cup / ceramic cup on the hot plates (e.g.
■
of other coffee makers), stoves, ovens etc. to prevent damage.
Only use accessories included in the product contents or exclu-
■
sively those recommended by the manufacturer.
Do not place the device under cupboards or similar. It could be
■
damage by rising steam!
Maintain adequate distance to heat sources such as stoves or
■
ovens to prevent damage to the device. Do not place any open
fl ames, e. g. burning candles, in the direct vicinity of the device,
cord and plug.
Do not allow the device to fall and do not subject it to strong
■
percussions.
Do not pull or carry the device by the cable.
■
Do not subject the device to extreme temperatures, severe chan-
■
ges in temperature, moisture, wetness or direct sunlight.
Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents to clean
■
the device. They could damage the surface.
Hygienic notes
The device, the ceramic and thermo cup may have residues from
■
production. To avoid health risks, clean the device, the ceramic
and thermo cup thoroughly before fi rst use. When cleaning, ple-
ase be absolutely sure to follow the cleaning notes in the chapter
"Care and decalcifying".
Only use fresh drinking water at room temperature for brewing cof-
■
fee. Do not use any water from a bath tub, sink or other containers.
Keep the device clean.
