(load cycles v10 Hz). Pliable tension/compression bars should be used for
dynamic loads with higher frequencies (see Section 7.3.1).
1. Installation of knuckle eyes and locking with initial stress (recommended
mounting variant):
- Unscrew the locknut up to the eye
- Screw the knuckle eye into the transducer (note permissible thread
reach)
- Unscrew the knuckle eye 1 to 2 threads, and align it
- Load the knuckle eye at 110% of the operating load in the tensile directio­
n
- Hand-tighten the locknut
- Unload the transducer
2. Installation of knuckle eye and locking with torque:
- Unscrew the locknut up to the eye
- Screw the knuckle eye into the transducer (note permissible thread
reach)
- Align the knuckle eye
- Tighten the locknut to the following torques

Notice
When locking, the tightening torque must not be shunted through the transd­
ucer.
