c) Adjusting the shock absorbers
Front axis
Rear axis
At the upper end of the shock absorber, the spring tension can be adjusted by turning the knurl (A).
The shock absorbers on the front and rear axle can be mounted in different positions at the top on the shock absorber
bridge (B) and at the bottom end (C). The manufacturer has, however, already selected an optimal position. Therefore,
only professional drivers should change make any changes.
Always set the shock absorbers on one axle evenly (at the left and right wheels of the front or rear axle). Otherwise,
driving behaviour will be negatively affected.
Professional drivers can also use springs with a different level of firmness or fill the shock absorbers with a shock oil
of a different viscosity.
Just as with a "real" car, the shock absorbers (and the rubber seals in the shock absorbers) are a wear part on a model
car. If oil is leaking from the shock absorbers (e.g. suspension arm is heavily oiled, dripping), the gaskets or shock
absorbers must be replaced.
