0 MAnL MANUAL ZERO RANGE
Trough this step one sets the weight percentage for the manually acquiring the gross zero; if, in the normal weighing
phase, by pressing ZERO, a weight within the programmed percentage of the total capacity, it will be cleared.
Press U.WT/UNITS to select one of the suggested percentages: +/- 0, 2, 4, 10, 50 or 100 % of the max. capacity.
Pin
SETTING PASSWORD SETUP
By pressing TARE, the "WEIGHT" display shows "Pin1" and the instrument is ready for entering the password, made
up of up to 4 digits; at the end of the entry confirm with TARE.
The "WEIGHT" display shows "Pin2"; enter again the same password and confirm with TARE.
The "UNIT WEIGHT" display shows "donE" if the password is correctly repeated or "FAiL" if it isn't.
See section 7.6 for the functioning specifics.
GrAV
GRAVITY OF USE ZONE
Trough this step it's possible to modify the acceleration value setting of instrument use zone for determining the weight
in a zone of use different from the calibration zone.
Manual entry of the g value: Set the value by using the numeric keyboard; one must modify all the 6 digits of the
gravitational acceleration.
Confirm with TARE or press ZERO to exit without confirming.

8. CALIBRATION

With this procedure it is possible to calibrate the local or remote scale.
Careful: the remote scale can be single cell, or with various cells equalised externally through the junction box. For the
connection specifications see section 3.1.
IN CASE THE ZONE OF USE IS DIFFERENT FROM THE CALIBRATION ZONE ONE SHOULD:
1) Carry out the calibration as following described.
2) Set the gravity acceleration value for the ZONE OF USER, see GRAV step section 7.6.
CALIBRATION PROCEDURE
- Upon start-up, press ZERO during the countdown.
- One will be asked to enter the password.
PROCEDURE WITH FREE SAMPLE WEIGHT
- Enter the password and press the PST key. The default password is 0000. If one forgot the password, change it in the
SETUP environment.
- One will be asked to select the scale to be calibrated: leave "LoCAL" (local scale) or press the LOCAL/REMOTE key to
select "rEMotE" (remote scale).
- Confirm with TARE or press ZERO to exit without confirming.
- One will be asked to select the calibration unit of measure: leave "kg" or press U.WT/UNITS to select "lb".
- Confirm with TARE or press ZERO to exit without confirming.
- The display shows the acceleration value set: enter the gravitational acceleration value of the calibration zone, if
different from the use zone, by using the numeric keyboard One must modify all the 6 digits of the gravitational
acceleration.
- Confirm with TARE or press ZERO to exit without confirming.
- The display shows "UNLOAD";
- Unload the scale and press the TARE key when the stability indicator is on.
- The "WEIGHT" display shows "SEL".
- Set the sample weight value using the numeric keys: insert the integer value, without the decimal values (for example
with capacity 30,00 kg, minimum division 0,05 kg and number of decimals 3, to set 10 kg one has to insert the value
10). Confirm the entered value by pressing TARE, the display shows "LOAD".
- Put the sample weight on the scale and press TARE when the stability indicator is on.
- The indicator returns to the weighing mode.
