7.5 "SC id" - SETTING SCALE ID

By pressing TARE it's possible to enter or modify the SCALE ID, in other words, a text of 6 characters which can be
printed or recalled through the serial line (see section 9.2.3).
To enter the text refer to section 6.10.

7.6 "tEcH" - SCALE CONFIGURATION

By pressing TARE it's possible to access the menu for the configuration of the LOCAL scale or the REMOTE scale.
One is asked to enter the password. The default password is 0000. If one forget the password, insert 9999.
To enter the menu:
- Enter the password and press the PST key:
- One will be asked to select the scale to be configured: leave "LoCAL" (local scale) or press the LOCAL/REMOTE
key to select "rEMotE" (remote scale).
- Confirm with TARE or press ZERO to exit without confirming.
- One will be asked to select the calibration unit of measure: leave "kg" or press the U.WT/UNITS key to select "lb".
- Confirm with TARE or press ZERO to exit without confirming.
The display shows the first parameter, "Cnt".
Cnt A/D CONVERTER POINTS
By pressing TARE the instrument shows the A/D converter points relative to the weight on the scale.
Press TARE to exit the step.
CAP REMOTE SCALE PARAMETERS (ACCESSIBLE ONLY FOR REMOTE SCALE)
By pressing TARE one accesses the setting of the parameters for the remote scale.
DECi NUMBER OF REMOTE SCALE DECIMALS
Press U.WT/UNITS to select one of the suggested values: 0.0 (a decimal),0.00 (two decimals), 0.000 (three
decimals), 0 (no decimal); confirm with TARE.
Confirm with TARE.
CAP REMOTE SCALE CAPACITY
- Use the CE key to clear the value and the numeric keys to enter the new value.
- Confirm the entered value with TARE.
inC MINIMUM REMOTE SCALE DIVISION
Press U.WT/UNITS to select one of the suggested values: 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 and 50.
Confirm with TARE.
diV MINIMUM LOCAL SCALE DIVISION (ACCESSIBLE ONLY FOR LOCAL SCALE)
Press U.WT/UNITS to select one of the suggested values: 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 and 50.
NOTE: Some parameters are not suggested depending on the model.
AZt ZERO TRACKING
Trough this step one sets the zero tracking, in other words, scale's thermal drift compensation parameter; the set
value corresponds to the number of divisions which is cleared.
Press U.WT/UNITS to select one of the suggested divisions: 0.5d, 1d, 2d, 4d.
0AUto AUTOMATIC ZERO AT START-UP (ACCESSIBLE ONLY FOR LOCAL SCALE)
Trough this step one sets the weight percentage for the automatic acquisition of the gross zero at start-up. If at the
start-up a weight is detected that is within the programmes percentage of the total capacity, it will be cleared; if the
weight is not within this tolerance, the display, after a few instants, shows the current weight.
Press U.WT/UNITS to select one of the suggested percentages: +/- 0, 2, 5, 10, and 20 % of the max. capacity.
Confirm with TARE or press ZERO to exit without confirming.
