16. Make sure that the lead cable does not
touch the hot appliance.
17. Do not use the appliance near flammable
liquids. Fire hazard!
18. The appliance becomes hot during operation.
Please use the handles or pot holders when
moving the appliance.
19. Do not leave the appliance unattended when
it is still hot. Risk of burns!
20. Open the lid completely when placing the
sandwiches onto the plates or removing
the sandwiches. Otherwise the lid may fall
down. Risk of burns and injury!
21. For safety reasons never cover the appliance
or the plates with paper, plastic film or other
foreign material. Otherwise the risk of fire
hazard exists!
22. Never touch the plates during operation or
shortly afterwards with any part of the body
or heat sensitive objects.

first use

1. Before first use, we recommend cleaning
the non-stick plates with a damp cloth.
2. Close the appliance and connect the plug
to a wall socket (230 V~, 50 Hz). The red
control lamp lights up and indicates that the
heating is operational.
3. Heat the appliance up for a couple of
minutes without dough, in order to eliminate
possible manufacturing residues. Make
sure the room is well ventilated during this
process. After the initial heating process
the appliance might show signs of wear,

wear and damage. In case the lead cable
