1. Please read the following information and
keep it for future reference.
2. This appliance is not intended for use by
persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance
by a person responsible for their safety.
3. Children should be supervised in order
to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
4. Keep the appliance out of reach of

5. Connect the appliance only to an AC power
supply with the voltage indicated on the

6. Do not operate this appliance with an
external timer or remote control system.
7. Never immerse the appliance or the lead
cable in water or other liquids.
8. Do not clean the slicer in a dish-washer.
9. Never touch the appliance or lead cable
with wet hands.

11. Do not place the appliance or lead cable
near open flames during operation.
12. Always use the slicer on a level and
uncluttered surface.
13. Make sure that the lead cable does not hang
over the edge of the worktop or table, since
this can cause accidents, for example if
small children pull on the cable.
14. Route the lead cable so that it is prevented
from being pulled or tripped over.
15. Never wrap the lead cable around the
appliance, but around the cable storage.
16. Always disconnect the lead cable from the
wall socket pulling on the plug, never on the
cable.
17. Never carry the slicer by the lead cable.
18. Use the slicer only indoors.
19. Children are not aware of the risks resulting
from electrical appliances and cutting tools.
Therefore the slicer must not be used by
children.
20. In order to avoid injuries, the rest holder
has to be placed on the carriage, as soon as
