7.6 Installing the product

The unit can tip over!
The case lifter can tip over, injuring people and damaging objects.
Place the case lifter on a fl at
Check the structural stability
Anchor the case lifter by screwing it to the fl oor
Only transport or move the case lifter without a load!
Observe the installation conditions described in section 7.2 (see page 21).
1.
Slightly tilt the case lifter onto its transport rollers and roll it to its installation area.
A larger tilt angle increases the required supporting force
2.
Secure the case lifter against tipping

Please note:
1
) Flatness deviation ≤ 1 mm (DIN 18202, tab. 3 - r.4)
2
) The structural stability of the case lifter has been verifi ed according to
DIN EN 1570. The case lifter can be operated without securing against tipping if
no horizontal forces (e.g. jolting by transport vehicles) are to be expected and the
case lifter can be placed in a suffi ciently stable manner on the existing ground. In
principle, we recommend anchoring the case lifter to the fl oor.
3
) Should the case lifter be operated without anchoring, we recommend checking the
structural stability for the respective application in accordance with DIN EN 1570:
