11 Decommissioning

No special steps are required to shutdown the case lifter. Therefore, this section
does not contain any information on the topic.
Section 12 "Disassembly and replacement" on page 47 explains how you can
dismantle your case lifter.
Observe the specifi cations in section 6 "Transport and storage" on page 20 if you
are transporting or storing the case lifter.

12 Disassembly and replacement

12.1 Performing disassembly

High electrical voltage!
Risk of serious injury or death from electric shock.
Make sure there is no voltage at the relevant system component before
electrically connecting, assembling, or disassembling the product.
Secure the system against being reactivated unintentionally.
The case lifter can tip over!
People can get injured and the case lifter damaged.
Always secure the case lifter against tipping.

Disassembling and replacing accessories
1.
Move the forks to a suitable position.
2.
Switch off the case lifter, disconnect it from the power supply (pull the plug), and
secure it against being switched on again.
3.
Disassemble the attached accessory and assemble the new component if required
as described in "Installing the product" on page 25.

Disassembling the case lifter
The disassembly is limited to the dismantling of accessories.
The case lifter itself may not be disassembled.
Observe the specifi cations in section 6 "Transport and storage" on page 20 if you
are transporting or storing the case lifter.
