Bring the servo with the remote control into
neutral position and screw it into the servo
holder.
Fit a single-sided control lever on the servo.
Hook the short Z-rod 6.6 into the servo arm.
Position the servo mount on the RC plate and
pre-drill the Ø 1.5 mm mounting holes in the
RC plate.

Use 2 screws 6.13 to fix the servo mount on
the RC-plate.
Slide the collar over the two rods. Align the
rudder straight. Tighten the set screw of the
collar to connect the two linkages.
The receiver and the speed controller can be
attached to the free surface of the RC plate
with double-sided adhesive tape or Velcro.
Cut out the battery tray according to the illus-
tration and file the cut-outs for the rubber ring
6.14 approx. 5 mm down.
Stick Velcro strips onto the bevelled edges.

Place the battery tray crosswise in front of the
RC mounting plate. The battery tray can be
moved by the velcro tape for weight compen-
sation.
Now a function test should be made.

Always switch on the transmitter first. The
throttle stick on the transmitter must be in the
"motor off" position. Connect the drive battery
to the controller. Check the neutral position
and direction of the rudder deflection. If the
function is reversed, switch over the servo
reverse function at the transmitter.

Check the rotation direction of the motor. The
boat shaft must rotate in the direction of the
arrow when viewed from behind. If the rotation
direction is reversed, reverse the connection
cables on the motor by soldering at the motor
poles.

Always switch off in reverse order: first discon-
nect the controller from the battery, and then
switch off the transmitter.
Fit the propeller 3.15 and lock it against the nut
3.9.
Velcro
CAUTION: During all assembly and mainte-
nance work, take care not to get into the
turning circle of the propeller - risk of in-
jury.
